Hello everyone! Today I’m going to talk about my asset allocation in the context of investment portfolio.

In this article you will find my detailed ETF-only portfolio.

I enjoy researching the markets and finding relevant solutions to make money work harder than boring saving accounts.

For 2026 here’s my asset allocation:

  • 40% Vanguard FTSE all world ex US (fees 0.04%)
  • 30% Xtrackers MSCI Emerging Markets (fees 0.18%)
  • 5% Vanguard FTSE Developped Europe (fees 0.10%)
  • 5% iShares Core FTSE 100 UK (fees 0.07%)
  • 5% Xtrackers MSCI Japan (fees 0.12%)
  • 5% Amundi Eastern Europe ex Russia (fees 0.50%)
  • 5% Emerging Market Latin America (fees 0.20%)
  • 5% Vanguard S&P 500 (fees 0.07%)

When researching the markets there are many parameters to take into consideration. Here’s my priorities when selecting an ETF:

  1. It has to be low cost (as low as 0.07% per year)
  2. It has to distribute dividends, if possible
  3. GBP hedge, if available
  4. It has to be easily tradable (large fund size)
  5. The last but not the least, it has to be available via my investment platform.

For this year the main strategy is to enhance geographical diversification. Portfolio needs to cover as many countries as possible.

That’s it for today and I hope you enjoyed reading this paper!

Cheers,
Antho
